HKUAA of Ontario, Canada

The first Photo Contest organised by the HKUAAO was one of the highlights celebrating its 30th Anniversary. The objective was to enable HKUAAO members to share their photographic talents in appreciating the natural heritage of Ontario and capturing the amazing moments relating to HKUAAO's activities.

By the deadline of December 31, 2015, 87 photos were received from 13 participants under the categories of, Nature, Birds, and People & Sports. The selection process was divided into two stages. At the first stage an adjudication panel selected the best five photos under each category. The panel was chaired by Stephen Siu, President of the Chinese Canadian Photographic Society of Toronto, who was joined by Irene Chu and Dennis Au-Yeung, our past President and present President. In the second stage, the pre-selected photos were displayed at the 2016 AGM & Dinner of the HKUAAO on March 20, 2016. Guests at the AGM Dinner voted to determine the winners.
