Let’s play a Chinese word game of couplets
The Hong Kong University Alumni Association of New Zealand held its Spring Dinner on March 3, 2018. HKU Vice-President and Pro-Vice-Chancellor (Research) Professor Andy Hor and Director of Technology Transfer Office Dr SC Kim were the guests of honour.
Six tables of attendees shared a sumptuous banquet, which was preceded by mahjong games and interspersed with Chinese word games of couplets and puzzles. Highlights included lucky draws, quizzes, singing and other entertainment. A very enjoyable evening to usher in the auspicious Year of the Dog.
